Children also learn through social interaction because we learn through interaction with other. For example, children learn to walk and talk with guidance from their parents, for your students the interaction with you as a teacher is extremely important. Your students need a guide to learn new things. When you're learning, you're often thinking tightly as you're focusing on something. You need a different way of thinking, a new perspective in a sense. Children learn effectively through scaffolding by adults. As English teachers, we are the scaffolding for our students.
